Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island Awards $1,000 Scholarships to Five Longwood High School Students
Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island proudly presented $1,000 scholarships, in partnership with local fire departments, to five exceptional Longwood High School students who are from Firefighter families or are involved in their local department.
The scholarships were awarded to the following students through their respective fire departments:
- Coram Fire Department – James Bocchimuzzo
- Gordon Heights Fire Department – Davien Benjamin-Sheffey
- Middle Island Fire Department – Sarah Meisenzahl
- Ridge Fire Department – Dante Mathelier
- Yaphank Fire Department – Viviana Lora
For more than 15 years, Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island has offered this scholarship, showcasing their ongoing commitment to community partnership, supporting our young people with their educational goals and honoring the service of first responders who help strengthen our neighborhoods.
