
Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island proudly awarded $1,000 scholarships to five outstanding Longwood High School students in partnership with the Coram, Gordon Heights, Middle Island, Ridge, and Yaphank Fire Departments.
Each recipient is either a member of their local fire department or part of a firefighter family, highlighting their deep commitment to service and community.
Scholarship Recipients:

- Davien Benjamin-Sheffey – Gordon Heights Fire Department
- Sarah Meisenzahl – Middle Island Fire Department
- Dante Mathelier – Ridge Fire Department
- Viviana Lora – Yaphank Fire Department
For more than 15 years, Mangano Family Funeral Homes has supported the next generation through this scholarship program, reinforcing its mission to invest in education and honor the dedication of local first responders.
